Thanked: 993Brand new toy!
This just arrived in the mail today. Scuttle and brush soaker from Robert Becker. The bowl is approximately 4 inches wide, and about 3 inches deep.
I don't think I'll have time to test drive it tomorrow, but I certainly will on Saturday.
I'm really digging the paintjob on this! I know we all like new toys, so I thought I'd share a few pics.
I'll post again after I take it for a spin.

Thanked: 993I literally read some threads here, and few over on another forum, went to check his Ebay store out and there was nothing that appealed. The very next morning, there was a picture of this one.....which promptly caused me to press the "Buy Now" button!

I could enjoy using that setup!
I think those who design these shaving bowls should add a little lip at the inside top of the bowl. When my brush gets full of lather, a little lip or extension or ring would help scraping lather out of the brush back into the bowl.
I ran into a cooking bowl with this feature, and use that bowl exclusively now. The manufacturers added the lip simply to give the lid (which I don't use) something to rest on.

Dang you, I was being so patient for mine up until I saw that picture. I got a similar model with a white glaze coming. Lets see a full report! I hope they are as awe-inspiring in person as in the pictures.
