I will probably end up a Lucky Tiger man 'cause I like the idea of a lucky tiger on my team. Now, Proraso after shave balm IS the bomb-balm. I pine for the vegetal the aroma and skin effect. Lucky Tiger mentholated disappearing cream will be used and disappear. There are a few more razors in the game than pictured. Two are honing practice dogs, one (a lovely Shaefer Rapid Shave/Solingen) is on deck for honing and the last, a stellar August Kern from an auction went to a pro. I'd already honed it and thought it shaved great but now's a good chance to compare my "tune-up" work to someone elses. Five razors, really. A lifetime supply, five good razors. I hope I live long enough to wear out all three brushes or, at least, pass a couple along. I am perfectly happy with either the Semogue boar or the Vie-Long horse brush and my Army coffee mug.

The brown six blade roll-up fabric pouch was an small indulgence; I own a sewing shop and had some Ultra-Suede sitting around - nice results, no investment. Free strops, too, from scrap. I mean, I LOVE straight shaving but I'm no where near going over the top. I do admire the work of collectors and restorers here but I'm only in it for the pleasure of executing a better shave and Mrs. Moo-approved cheek skin.
Sounds like you got a great attitude about your shaving Moo. Ya know what ya like and want, that's awesome. I have made myself into a boar convert. I love My 1350 Semogue. And the whole army coffee mug boar brush thing....love it. Mrs. Moo must be proud. Well done sir.

I have had my Shave Den for about a year now but finally had the ugly wallpaper removed (from previous owner) and added some fresh paint ! Need to do something about the frilly curtains. Maybe some white indoor shutters. My shop is down in the dungeon and will get some pictures when I straighten up a bit :-)

Nice job on the shelving, I rather like the barber pole cabinet handle.

Default My Shaving Corner and Clutter

Just installed my 14 day Razor Rack made by doughboy1968 (thank you sir). I sewed up and attached a quick holster to it to hold seldom used items and oddities I might use here and there. I need better photography skills.Name: 2013_1118Strop0003.jpg

    Wow!
I've been warned that this can happen to you when you get into straight shaving
