Thought I'd post an update shot since I've upgraded, fairly substantially imho... Thought I have the feeling there is a looooong way to go

Here in Hawaii, space is at a premium. Even though I have a three bedroom two bath condo, it is very small by Mainland standards. So I must use every inch of space. SWMBO hs the master bath (twice the size of mine), so this is the second bath and my shave den.

I put in a sink riser above the faucet for a shelf for immediate need items like razors for the day/week and soap/cream/bowls/brushes, etc. I have glass pump bottles for my homebrew Witch Hazel and 35 percent Wintergreen alcohol. The yellow bottle is Clubman Pinaud that I use frequently on Friday for Clubman Friday. My shaving scuttle is always at hand on the sink counter. I like a warm lather shave.

I custom built a wall cabinet for storing some essentials (pictured) and I also use all the space in the under-sink cabinet for supplies. There is a large wall mirror (typical in Hawaii) behind the sink and i added a shaving magnification mirror. My strops are attached to the back of the door with hooks. Two large hanging lights really give me amazing lighting. Barber towels are in a basket on top of the toilet tank. I will eventually put in a tiny shelf below my custom built wall cabinet to have the towels rolled and at the ready.

What's not pictured is my Bose Wave Radio on a shelf on the opposite wall of the sink. I have to listen to tunes when I shave. I do not "Display" my vintage razor collection at all. It's tucked away in a drawer. Perhaps some day I'll put it on the opposite wall near the wave radio.

Amen to that, i don't have a den so much as a pile of soaps and colognes lol

I've got a small sink, mirror and cabinet underneath like the above pictures. Plus a shelf in a linen cabinet because the wife cant reach it. Vertically challenged she is. So no shave den really. Just a tiny place to hide in when shaving in the wife's Master bath connected to the wife's Master bedroom. As you know its all hers. I just pay for the house and live in her space. LOL.

My den, the full meal deal, and my allotted counter space...

Its pretty sad aint it. Well, at least you have some counter space allowed. Mines in the closet. Dont know what id do without my girl but she controls the house. What do ya do.
