Thanked: 983I like that set up you have Bushdoctor. I would love to have something like that myself. A bit on the fancy side, but I like fancy as well as basic. Our outdoors would be no less dangerous than anyone elses outdoors. Most countries have snakes and spiders and such.
You'll have to post a view from your window now...Or perhaps from your back door in the thread that Carl started just for those sorts of shots.

My mini shave den :P
So, I finally got all my stuff. Rest of the things I ordered from SRD, came today. Did my first stropping too, and my 2nd shave which went really well. It still just took so damn long... From prepping till finished shaving was like an hour or so... Is this normal?
Anyways, my wife made room on this side of the shelf unit. Of course I don't keep my razor like, it's just posing for the picture lol. It's a vintage Monopol I got off the classifieds, thanks to 'rodb.' It's in really good condition, and is a great beginner's razor; 5/8 hollow. Got my 3" strop hanging in a corner. To use my strop, I'm using a door strap that came with my weight bands. This way, I can use it at any height I want. And it's very stable and sturdy. Clever huh?
My soap dish, and lathering bowl, both got at TJ Max for very cheap. I like the glass, and its the perfect shape/size for my hands. Until I get a nice scuttle from Dirty Bird, I'm using the glass dish with hot water inside the soap dish. It covers about half of it.
Anyways, I enjoy my humble little corner. I appreciate it very much.

I took over the half bath with a lot of shelves put in and 5x7 vintage ads. Poeple sell those tings on EBAY ! Dont they know you can just click on the picture and save it ? Then print it out on photo paper ?
Opinions on this;
I bought a cleaned up SR on EBAY, made it shave ready and a month later listed it back on EBAY using the original auctions pictures. Guy emails me and says "I didnt know I had to copyright my wifes pictures. She was upset when she saw your auction". My response was "I paid you for the razor and figured all the information about it was now mine !"

Thanked: 983My opinion is that you stole property not belonging to you. You paid for a razor, not the rights to use photographs and/or words verbatim when you chose to sell it later on. I would have charged you for each photograph you used, at the going rate for Journalism and advertising, and I would have also charged you per word of original text at the current journalists rate. And if you didn't pay up, I would take you to the small claims court or such equivalent as your country has. That's just my opinion of course!
