Thanked: 983Why can't it be a small Wok? Don't mind my way of thinking. I lived a good chunk of my life in the bush and seem to have rusticated myself .

Thanked: 227That actually aint a bad idea. I think i may have a look around. In fact a good iron one will hold heat quite well.

My humble little corner. I live in an apartment, the bathroom is small, and I did not like the idea of trying to figure out how to straight shave while SWMBO wants to come to do anything she wants / needs in the bathroom. So the idea was basically to establish the shave den in my room. I tucked this in a little corner, and this is quite comfortable now. I miss some light on the left side, tough...
General view from the left:
Water gear in working order (minus the water...). Small yellow bowl to soak the brush(es) and clean water reserve, bigger yellow bowl for the rinsing water, biggest yellow bowl just because, front left stainless pet food dish for mixing, front right wiping / feedback sponge to clean the razor on the second and third pass. Styptic usually sits next to the razors on the shelf, and the alum deodorant (for the grip) in the far left
Those are the things that sit on the top of the cabinet: on the left, a Gillette Toggle in near mint condition, on the right, the project pile...
Cabinet open, some eau de toilette, DE razors and blades, soaps, after shaves and favorite painkiller. On the top shelf: blade and strop maintenance stuff.

Den with an obvious emphasis on SE...
I try to keep my Den uncluttered. Have usually no more than 2 razors out (of a total of 3, mind you!) and use only one soap at a time. Not shown on the photograph is the shelf below with Musgo's pre- & after-shave as well as the alum.
