    I've used both the Dovo metal box and a leather sleeve to travel with straights. The leather didn't work out too well - blade opened up inside at some point and gashed it. For the Kamisori, I would check out Pelican micro-cases. They come in all kinds of sizes and colors, and the foam rubber interior can be cut to securely hold any shape. I'm thinking of doing one up for a full shaving kit.

    A friend of mine crafted just such a wooden box for his Dobson kamisori. Unfortunately, rare earth magnets are indeed strong, and I watched his blade get sucked over to one while he showed it off to me. D'oh! Yes, I'm jealous; the box is sweet.
