I just picked up one of those salsa bowls yesterday and it works quite well. Mine is pretty smooth inside and I wish the textured outside was there as well. I was thinking about spraying some bed liner all over. To make it black since all they had were bright neon colors. But also to create a textures surface inside for better lather build up.

    Any thoughts?

How about heating up a screw driver and making a few lines on the inside for texture.

Score it up with a box cutter. As long as its soft plastic and not the real hard kind.

It's not very hard. I might just take some coarse sandpaper to it and just paint the outside black. The bright orange stands out in the den.
