No Tim, no apology needed. Tom (Sharptonn ) and I are friends and tease each other....his finger in the roll comment creeped me, intentionally, I’m sure. No worries if you like the brush, once it thaws. It’s warmer here in NC!

I'm a newer member and have been lurking through old "what are you working on" posts at lunch. I've admired the work of pixelfixed and thought maybe one day I'd see if he'll make me a brush. Saw this tonight and checked it out. Sorry to hear he's no longer able to create his beautiful work. His artistry, skill, and knowledge are still being enjoyed thanks to SRP. My condolences to all of you who were his friend. Respect to a true craftsman.

Thanked: 4206I was blessed to join before his passing and really valued his comments on my builds. Helped me to evolve my finesse on things like brush turnings.
His craftsmanship, always top shelf! His criticism equally valued..

Thanked: 4206Thought this a good thread to post this too.
Beside myself with appreciation and thanks for this Beauty that arrived in the mail unexpectedly.
A pixelfixed original from a very generous friend in the southern states.
Couldn’t have asked for something that will be so appreciated, for a long time to come, god willing.
Thank you indeed to a friend I hope to tip an elbow with one day in person..

Nice! Ebony and ivory, Mike? What's the plug in the bottom?

Thanked: 4206Looks to be silver? No markings on it, but a little tarnish that reminds me of the argyle patina. And yes, I believe you are right on the main materials as well Tom.
Wasn’t sure if he used real ivory this big, but it feels so weighty and smooth in hand, must be.
Edge is still very crisp where the ebony meets the ivory..not sharp, but crisp..
Really a stately looking handle."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."
