    Very Nice!

While no where near as fancy or pretty when I was on my ride on my Harley this year I was able to show Benz how to make simple white sandwich bread using his Kitchen Aid.

He has made bread in a bread machine but now he knows that he can do much more.

Yesterday I decided to attempt to make a Cinnamon Swirl Bread. It came out pretty good however I didn't get the edges sealed well enough so it's a bit messy in the middle.

Today I'm cooking a beef pot roast and I wanted open faced sandwiches for supper so I made a loaf of regular white bread with just a bit of Whole Wheat in it.

A big pan of steaming water under the stone in the oven makes all the difference I find.

I'm trying to get as much made ahead for tomorrow's Thanksgiving Dinner as I can so the day is fairly stress free (my kids eat at multiple homes and so I'm serving around 1 pm). Anyway I made and baked the rolls today.

I screwed up and forgot to get butter out of the frig so making apple pie is behind. I'd canned the filling earlier this month or so. See Here:

Well I'm off to steam the sweet potatoes so they are ready to be candied tomorrow.
