I've used Pam spray oil, many times. Spray, wipe, cook at 500°F till it quits smokin, then repeat till desired affect is achieved.
Always leaves a hard slick surface. And soap never touches my pans. A quick rinse and wipe with hot water is all I've ever needed for cleaning.Mike
