Tonight New Year's Eve a few triples bear, fine beers from Belgium.
The Brugge triple was good flavor and 8.7% alcohol drink away easily. (1 ½ liters bottle)
The kasteel was a little heavier but nice. 11% alcohol(33cl)
I do like triples, nice soft beer with a solid % alcohol

It was one of the nastiest beers I've had in a LONG time. My sink finished this one.

It recently dropped in price to about half what it was here in Atlanta!

I love Innis and Gunn. I tried the rum barrel finished beer a few weeks ago, but have to say the original is still my favorite oak aged beer.

    Good Stuff!

I wasn't a fan of the rum barrel offering, however I make a point to try all their limited editions if I can find them. the one aged in 21 year old scotch casks was fantastic ( a little too sweet... almost ) and the one aged in Canadian Whiskey casks for Canada day was very nice but nothing beats their original.

from the Capital Brewery in Madison Wisconsin, perhaps one of the greatest breweries i have ever been to, its right up there with the Great Lakes Brewery in Cleveland. this is the first time i have ever tried (or even seen) this particular beer but it is great.
