Thanked: 1160Between Russia and now the Middle east I am finding I like how they partake of meals. Sorta like small smorgasboards. Then maybe it's just that it's different from my usual breakfast style that makes it appealling. A little bit fresher and not as fried or heavy.Between the two cultures I am definitely getting more fruit and veggies in my diet and more fish as well,so this is a good thing. But....I'll take breakfast just bout any ol way cause it's my favorite meal of the day.

well that calls for a midnight snack.
my grandad gets these royal warrant butchers pamphlets in his free mason magazine which he ordered me some stuff from. so today the delivery driver gave me a huge box full of sausages, steak burgers, bacon burgers, bacon rashers, cooked ham slices, a cooked ham leg, a salami and a jar of piccalilli. oh and a goats cheese covered in rowan tree ash. thanks grandad!Net.Wt.7oz

i used to often partake of second or third breakfast, either the sunday after a big saturday night or more lately when my daughter was getting up at 5 Am. usually coffee and toast followed by pancakes. Then maybe something else, who knows what.
Just to cross contaminate your thread further there
aRe a heap of those russian watches on the bay.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Just made another bowl of thick matcha with my packet of Tori. No pics because it looks the same.
It's growing on me. Especially now that I took more time whisking, to get out all the little lumps that I didn't before, and it's nice and smooth.
I think that I still prefer this one made as thin matcha but thick matcha does have it's appeal. It definitely shows off the tea and you really get to taste every different flavour in the matcha.
I think the off-putting thing about it, initially, is that it's totally not what you expect tea to be like—thick, syrupy and vegetal. Once you get past that though, I'm finding it very interesting. It's just a shame that it requires so much leaf, if you want to call it that. The packet just disappears in a flash. I think I have enough for another bowl of usucha, though.

Thanked: 1160This guy kinda covers all bases. Russian/Persian..old and new..loose tea bag tea ?. It's all there. I've personally never been big on the one bag one mug method though. Seems like a waste when a pot will stretch it out and the leftover can be iced. Also the sugar cube in the mouth thing I am well aware of as both russian and now also persian custom. But the dentist bill has gotta be a bear from that practice. Anyway enjoy your tea.
