It is salt tea, tastes more like broth or soup than ordinary tea, so that's why it is OK to put meat in it. It is also a way to warm up the cold cuts a bit.
The vodka is straight and room temperature.

He didn't really elaborate too awful much to me save for a few messages way back which I am having trouble finding at the moment. I sorta considered him our expert Chinese tea man here . If the mods keep his postings here then his knowledge will at least live on for others who visit the thread . Gonna be hard though rereading them...and I know I will too.

I was just going through my old PM's to read one's from Bela, just to read them. It's really sinking in that he won't be there for my questions anymore. At least I know I've been enriched by knowing him even as little as I did. The term gone but not forgotten is taking on a whole new meaning for me.
