Is called BORSCHT,made with Shortribs,beef stock,Cabbage,Potatoes,Tomatos,beets,cook for two days on low heat.
Before serving bring to a boil,add some homemade pelmeni,big dollop of smetana on top,food of the gods IMO.
Started curing some more Corned Beef Brisket. I ran a little short of Allspice but I think it will turn out fine. Using bread pans and my Amsden formation sample with 3 cans of corn for weight. [They might be beans as they are unlabeled scratch and dents.] Trying to use a little less room in the refrigerator for the next 5 days. ANTICIPATION!
Sunday dinner: Ballotine with parsnip mash and fried potatoes.
