As Master Yoda would say "There is no try, only do" :jedi: ) and it's worth doing, just don't get frustrated the first time you mak'em as you most likely will have one or two that the sausage pulls away from the egg when cooking them. It's a small learning curve is all. Try crushed up corn flakes for your coating a very British thing to do and Pankow works very well. Hot or cold with mustard and or horseradish,....outstanding and those by the way look very outstanding !:)
Working on bacon weave sandwich sheets..
each sheet is made out of 3 pieces of bacon cut in half...
This insures that you have two layers of bacon in every bite...

Foil lined sheet pan
Weave bacon (add coarse ground black pepper to taste)
Set a cooling rack on top of the bacon upside down
Cold start oven, set to 325F/160C for the set (about 20 minutes from start, YMMV)
Then raise the temp to 350-365F/175-185C And. Don't. Walk. Away...
BACON RULES!!!!
A friend an member has recommended this for me to try. I know for a fact that he'd fixed two of them last week when his boys and the grand kids came to visit and of course EAT!
I'm planning on making a smaller version to share with some of my family but Damn! It looks and sounds Good!
