The only thing that sounded good for supper was some pizza.
I was lazy and bought a store made dough and all of the trimmings. I also didn't care if it was 'round' so here's the results.
A red sauce based pizza with mozzarella cheese, Italian sausage, pepperoni, onion, mushroom, salami, Canadian bacon and black olives. Enough left overs for breakfast. :tu

Inspired by cudarunner, I folded my pizza in half and made oven-baked panzerotti.
Yummy!

It depends on what part of Italy one is from.
In my region, they are called panzerotti.
Whenever we made calzone, it would be either a savory or sweet dish (depending on the time of year). It looked like a cake/pie, Italian style, where the crust used olive oil instead of butter, as an ingredient.
My favourites are the calzone di ricotta (sweet) and calzone di cipolle (savory).
And I always carry Tums with me...
