Simple stew tonight, but one of my favorites- Boeuf Bourguignon. The wine I used was a lovely bottle of Bordeaux (so not TECHNICALLY bourguignon?). Delicious meal and the leftover wine was equally delicious :)

Gravlaks ( Cured Salmon)

Salmon that has been cured in a mix of salt, sugar, cognac, oregano, rosemary and basil for about 48 hrs.
Most Norwegian families have their own recipe for Gravlaks.
Mine is one that I got when I was living in Seattle, but it is originally from the area of Norway where I'm living now.
I served it with rice, mustard-sauce and white wine.
