Finished of my Arran 10 year old.
I don't know whether to buy a bottle of edradour 10 year old or deanston 12 year old.
Right know I'm erring toward the edradour. Thoughts?

Woodford Reserve, neat.
I just found out today is World Whiskey Day and I'm all out of drinkable whiskey...and cash. I'll have to make do with this stuff.

I sold a couple of glasses of that in the hotel bar last night. It's not often a guest impresses me with their choice of drink.
Back to the scotch this morning with a drop of Bunnahabhain Eirigh Na Greine. Nice stuff, but could do with a couple more years maturation in my opinion. I was getting a bit of rawness in the back of the throat even after adding enough water to wash most of the flavour out of the arrival.
Glenrothes Bourbon Cask Reserve tonight. This is a new one for us. Nice!
Keep meaning to pick up a glenrothes. They seem to get mixed reviews but their age stated 'vintage' versions appear to be pretty good.
Just an average night tonight,,, Famous Grouse on the rocks.
I don't know if you are the adventurous sort and most people don't think of Wales and whisky but I would like to bring your attention to these...
Penderyn - The Dragon Collection, Legend, Myth & Celt, bottled at 41% abv
My personal favourite is the Celt and I always get a few bottles when I'm in south Wales visiting family and friends. Cheers.
