If you do use booze as an A/S drive carefully .........

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

See you guys are doing it wrong. While regular a/s you put on your face to help with irritation. Your supposed to drink the booze to help with the irritation. It works so well that if you use enough you won't even know you shaved.

Have used Whiskey a few times, its great. If you think this is pricy, calculate the cost of aftershave per litre even a cheap one!!

I have read that some guys have used vodka, it has very little scent after it dries.

Ha ha ha, thank you guys. This thread became hotter and funnier than I thought, and also get me some serious answers.
Matter of fact, I also noted that the scent, even of the gin, fades very quickly (or am I excessively used to it ). The oaky scent of the brandy, however, lasts longer.

And with about six weeks of soaking selected stuff in it it is a very high proof and pleasant aftershave. So, about $20 gets a liter of aftershave. Break the fifth down into ½ pint/ .25 liter canning jars and make a few different scents.

My bad ... I meant 52% alcohol.. 110+ proof; That would burn with a flame! My home made is higher and closer to 70%+ or 140 +proof.
