I don't know about you, but I'm convinced.
It's Proraso Green for me. That way I can begin the day as a lean, mean, green machine.

Just got back from a business trip where I used the Proraso green soap in a travel tub with a Merkur DE razor, Wilkinson Sword blade and GF Trumper's travel brush for four days. Wowzers!!! BBS all the way.

I am a fan of the Van Der Hagen soap. I mix mine with a daub of Classic Brand shave cream (unscented) and a few drops of EVOO and it makes a decent enough lather.
After hearing all the talk of Proraso, I looked EVERYWHERE over the weekend to find some. I finally found a tube or CO BIGELOW (Proraso, re-packaged) at a Bath and Bodyworks.
Nice stuff. Definfilty recommend it! Just dont go looking for Proraso if you live in MI, because all you'll get is a dumb look from the sales clerk
What you want is CO Bigelow.

I'm still using a small green bowl of Proraso I bought almost a year ago. It's only a few bucks at Shoppers and works great! The menthol/eucalyptus feeling is awesome

Thanked: 10My first day with Poraso, and second straight razor shave! Its excellent stuff. I think it was the menthol that really smoothed out my shave compared to the horror movie two days ago.

Thanked: 18I started out with Proraso soap. I think it's kind of like the "idiotproof" soap. If you can't make lather with that, you can't make lather, full-stop. I found it very easy to work with (this from a guy who can't make lather to save his own ass) and it smells nice, to boot. And that little tub of cream lasts a damn long time, too. So it's certainly value for money in my book.

one of the best soaps out there if not the best ( price/ quality ratio)
tried many many others and even my $25 art of shaving sandalwood isnt as good as the proraso (the smell of sandalwood is amazing though).
plus, the proraso is like available everywhere.
in all....for me,,,,,Proraso is the best

Proraso is great, its my at work soap, and there is nothing like a cold water splash after shaving with it, its like rinsing your face with a snowball
