This is a great thread.
Cousin Festus makes a monthly trip to the big city and stops off at one of those burger places and gets some of that oil they give away. He swears the stuff works great as a preshave. His biggest problem is deciding which scent to use every day. Maybe the chicken nuggets or the french fries or the Apple Pies. All the animals on the ranch love it too.
The only problem is when he goes hunting it really attracts the game to him for an easy kill just that the Mountain Lion wasn't such a good deal. After it jumped him from behind and had a real hankering for those apple pies. A couple hundred stitches to his scalp and back and now he carries some fresh apple pie with him just in case.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Maybe he should use the stuff from the donut shop, you don't have to strain it so much and is a much lighter yet sweeter tone to it. A mountain lion may not be so inclined to jump some one who smells of bear claws, a if they are laced with cinnamon and sprinkles.

My brother told me about this same recipe and I saw a similar one elsewhere online. Compared to AOS preshave oil -- AOS was my 1st pre-shave oil -- the homemade one works well. I have made two different types following the quantities (parts) in the above recipe:
1. castor oil + e.v. olive oil + lavender
2. castor oil + jojoba oil + lavender
I like the one with jojoba oil best, since it is absorbed by my skin quickly, takes the lavender scent best, and washes off my hand easier. You can take the boy out of NY, but you can't take NY out of the boy.

Yep that's the next one Im going to make up to be honest . whats the make or name of the citrus you used ? as I know some are better than others. you can always use Almond oil if you cant get castor oil, I bet someone on here will at some time read it wrong, and go into a gas station & ask for Castrol oil hahaLast edited by Welshcitydragon; 10-24-2012 at 08:58 AM.
