has anybody ever tried mixing shaving soap & shaving cream in bowl?? i would like to try this but never tried to lather up shaving cream before.

Superlather add a little Glycerin about 5 drops and then you have Uberlather have fun some recipes work very very well others are just so so

Me too! I stir my soaps and pluck it down on a puck of Williams with 3 or 4 drops glycerine most shaves.
The sky's the limit on it! Mix and match!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."

Just started doing this. Love the tabac shaving soap but love the lathering ease of Taylor of Old bond St's Sandalwood shave cream. Fill up the brush with tabac and then two swipes on the cream and it's crazy lather.

Thanked: 0I think its better to start uberlathering after you've grown accustomed to the original products. This way you can monitor the variables for improvement.

I do nearly every time I shave. Just a better lather that way for me.
