Yes I really like the stuff and although I have no aversion to the Blue,...all I see out there is the Blue aue de toilette but nothing to really compliment the Suave,Vigaroso or the Amber which is nice also. So I'm kinda open for suggestions. Cheers Obie

As far as samples, usually the store will make you up one. "The perfumed court" is a good place to buy decants and samples as well if you don't live near a retailer.

Yes, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille is amazing! If you like tobacco scents,
You might also want to try Thierry Mugglier's "Pure Havane." It is a nice tobacco scent,
However a lil synthetic for me me. It is definitely a crowd pleaser though! Creed's "Tabarome" is another good tobacco scent I like.

I have a lot of the Creed's but I'm starting to get into the Tom Ford's. Tobacco Vanille is amazing!!

I have semi-local Saks that carries the private blends. I smelt Cafe Rose, Noir Noir and Tobacco Oud. Will have to sample Tobacco Vanille next time I'm in there. Just wish the private blends weren't $220 and up...sheesh.

My bottle of Thierry Mugler Pure Malt is almost empty. I've been eyeing the Pure Havane as a replacement. :-)

    For me, its:

    • L'Occitane Baux
    • Old Spice Classic

Dig both for their old style scents.

Eau de Baux is good! I actually hated the pink pepper note at first, then grew to enjoy it.

Of all the Tom Fords it is my favorite. I like Neroli portifino a lot, however it disappears on my skin. All the neroli or citrus scents do. I have hesitated on the Tom Fords because I can't really find them in stock and cheaper on fragrancenet, however you can usually get the Creeds on there for about half the price and the juice is good. The second I find Tom Ford TV on that site I would buy instantly.

Try thepetfumedcourt.com or other decant retailers.
they are reputable and do splits or decants if you don't want a full bottle.
Also if you go to Independent online guide to perfume — Basenotes.net they have some good splits in the forums and as long as you stick with the same basenoters everyone else does you can be assured they are legit.

You will dig Pure Havane. It's a great scent. If you like the gourmand scents, try Spicebomb by Viktor and Rolf (not for everyone though) and Original Santal by Creed
