Have you received your Pure Havane yet? Also you might want to consider Pure Malt. I'm not a fan of the original A* Men as it has that cloying tar note that I can't get past, however the flankers are better then the original in this case. IMHO He A*men flankers (malt, Havane, wood etc) are one of the only non-niche frags that can stand alone against niche houses like Creed (own quite a few and I'm a fan..not a bandwagon fan as I don't buy into their bs marketing lol) Tom ford, Serge Lutens, Acqua Di Parma, etc...

Hi Jackcross, Semper Fi! I did get my Pure Havane and also tried Pure Malt at Macy's. Quite frankly I did not care for either and, like you, I am not a fan of the original A* Men. On the bright side, I also received my Woods of Windsor and I loved it! T&H Spanish Leather arrives tomorrow and C&S Cuba comes Friday. I did get C&S Spanish Cedar and Molton Brown's Tobacco Absolute, and those are "just okay" but not something that I would want to call my "Signature Scent". So far my favorites are Woods of Windsor, GFT's Spanish Leather and Tabac. Anxious to try T&H's Spanish Leather, and to a "lessor degree", C&S's Cuba! Received my Truefitt & Hill Spanish Leather and my Czech & Speake Cuba today! Love both of them! They will both be in my "cologne rotation" along with Winds of Windsor and GFT's Spanish Leather (I think I like T&H's Spanish Leather over GFT's version). Cuba is VERY interesting, nothing like anything I tried before! Highly recommend!
