I haven't tried their aftershave, but I have tried the Ogallala Bay Rum Original and Bay Rum Sandalwood shaving soaps and I LOVE them both. Their scent can actually last quite awhile (6-10 hours) and sometimes I'll lather up with them without shaving for this fact alone...

These will never last as long as say Drakkar or any other cologne, just because they are AS's not cologne's...
They are basically 2 types of bay rums to my nose
The Island style which most fall into this category, and the what I call the Cowboy or Western style....
the Island style is a crisp clean scent like Dominica, Royall, Pusser's etc:
The Western is a heavier more clove scent like the Ogalalla
Personally I haven,t met a Bay Rum I don't like, but thats just me, there are some I like better than others....but to tell you what my nose likes does no good whatsoever.
The Royall is the standard in my eyes, probably because I remember buying that stuff for my pops for at least the last 45 years, that and Old spice were his AS of choice....

Try C&O Bigelow a/s balm, the aroma sticks around for quite a long time after being applied. I bought a bottle on B&B's bst thread, the person selling it said it was too strong for him, but I actually quite like it.
