Thanked: 1I love this place!
Thanks to dwnwrdishvnwrd, and the other smart alecs (and alexis') since his post. I have grown to love the knowledge and humor around here. Good to know this for whenever I find the next lucky lady. Fortunately for my use of Trumpers Skin Food, the last one and I have parted ways (obviously because she got between me and my skin food!).

Well, I would suggest my back-up-in-case-of-emergency-you-can-find-most-anywhere-aftershave-and-fix-almost-every-skin-condition-lotion but I hadn't tasted it. So I went down the hall and opened the bottle and then......
it was soapy, but not bad. Long aftertaste though....

Thanked: 155Personally, I would stay away from balms, skin foods and other such fru-fru. I prefer a more natural feel to my skin.

My Dad told me years ago that back in the early '50s Navy ships prohibited aftershave onboard during war-zone outings. He was on a ship off Korea for a bit. Seems some percentage of sailors took to drinking aftershave for an easy (if not tasty) light buzz from the alcohol. I guess if you gotta get some alcohol into your blood that's one way to go about it.
