[QUOTE=persco;281347]I bought the Dominica out of curiosity. My wife hated L'Occitane Cade (I really liked it... but the scent lasts all day, like a cologne, which I didn't like)
Was that the ASB ? I really like the Cade SS & AS but find the SC & ASB quite another animal, with a sickening cologne smell that lasts forever. Not the same product at all.

Bay Rum
Ive tried Dominica, in my opinon a little on the weak side
Occalla is similar to dominica
now if you want a Strong Bay Rum with a little Bite, my all time fav is
PINNAUDS VIRGIN ISLAND BAY RUM
it is not for the light hearted
but once tried im sure you will appreciate the Fagerance and bite as I do
In My humble opinon
Always Yours.

I love my Dominica BR and Ogallala BR/Sandalwood.
I find the Dominica to be extremely refined, crisp and fresh. Not to overwhelming but subtle and present. A very nice mix.
It lingers for several hours on my skin. I have some expensive EDTs that don't even linger that long but I just love the scent. Skin type will make a huge difference in my book. Dominica for some reason does really well on my skin.

Here's another vote for Pinaud, my favorite bay rum by far. Easily accessible and cheap.
If you don't feel like wasting time going from drugstore to drugstore in search of it, go to the Walgreen's website and plug in a search for your area. It should tell you what stores carry it.
