Any one else use pre shave oil
Not to far from me in Atlantic City they just opened a art of shaving store.
So i bought some sandlewood pre shave oil . Even with shaving with almond soap
i can still smell that awsome smell of sandlewood. I Even was given a compliment from
a lady at my local store of how good i smelled. Does any one else use art of shaving supplies
and what do you think of them?

I have lavender, works well and I really like it. The scent is very nice, not too strong. I don't know if i can afford to use AOS products regularly though.

I like their Lavender cream. I stopped using pre-shave oil because I didn't find it provided any additional help above and beyond my normal facial prep.

I've gotten some free samples of it but haven't tried the stuff. I have always worried that I would get the stuff on my brush and I wouldn't want that.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I like the AOS soaps and creams. I wouldn't buy a brush from them as I think better values exist.
I don't see any great benefit to pre shave oil.

I've used Prorasso pre shave ,which smell like Noxema, anyone remember your Mother using Noxema, anyway, I've also used Castle Forbes. I too feel it doesn't benefit me much, not to say that another member will not benefit from it. I do the Hot Towel prep and I heat my lather as well. I also hot rinse my blade, so I don't think the pre shave is doing anything, I could of course be wrong.
