Athough I cannot comment on the products that you are interested in getting feedback about, you my find my experience useful. I used to be prone to getting razor bumps, and as a result of all the great shaving suggestions already made by others, now I almost never do. However, every once in awhile, I do get razor bumps, and when I do, I use aloe vera. The bumps are gone in hours, definitely, overnight. Not sure this is what you want but I feel that the benefits of using aloe vera grant your consideration.

    Al raz.

I try to avoid them. When I get them I rub some grapefruit seed extract into them. This breaks them, and also disinfects them. I get a small cut that bleeds briefly and then heals.

Scruffy, do you mean the grapefruit juice (it's sour stuff, I know! ) actually breaks the skin?

I have tried PFB Vanish, and I think it helps a bit. It appears that there is no miracle cure in a bottle though.
The absolute best solution for me is to wash the affected area with a facial scrub (I use Baxters). This will lift the hairs above the skin once more. It may leave the area a bit red though, so an application of witch hazel afterwards will help calm things down again.

It is tincture that you can buy in a health food store. It is actually made from grapefruit seeds. You can also add 10 drops to a glass of juice to fight colds, or gargle with it to get rid of a sore throat. It also dissolves cold sores instantly. Just make sure to wash it off the skin quickly. It has a tendency to burn.

Thankfully I don't get ingrowns anymore, but hopefully I can help some.

A great product for ingrowns is TendSkin. The downside is that it's sickeningly expensive because the only active ingredient is aspirin. You can make your own, though.

Preface: This may not be the best idea for those with really sensitive skin. Aspirin is basically salicylic acid and some folks may have a sensitivity to it. Also, it burns like freakin' hell, especially if you have a lot of bumps or you tore your face up while shaving.

    All you need is...

    - 10 UNCOATED (important) generic aspirin
    - 4oz Witch Hazel or any other mild aftershave you have lying around
    -There is no third ingredient

Allow the aspirin to dissolve and shake before every use. You can play around with the ratios to whatever suits you and your skin the best. DON'T apply it before shaving as it's pretty drying. You may want to follow up with a moisturizer of some kind. You can let the mixture sit on your skin for a few minutes, also. Make sure to wash it off thoroughly afterwards.

It's worth giving it a shot, especially considering how inexpensive the concoction is. An alum block after shaving may work well for you, too.

Good observation! Check the Clubman's label 1st though. Same ingredients in a more refined soup without the chemistry set, just in case that's not your cup of tea.
