I've been using the Proraso aftershave - I use the whole Proraso compliment often, so it's nice to finish up with it! I also use AV and some Skin Bracer as well.

I use a variety of aftershaves. During winter months I like to use heavier scents such as Pashana, Bvulgari, etc. In spring and summer I like to wear Aqua di Parma, Ogallala Bay Rum, Proraso, Pino Silvestre, Number Six, etc.

I've used Old Spice off and on for as long as I've been shaving..I'm 60 btw and never get tired of it. I've even mixed it with Bay Rum for a very spicey change of pace, though I like it best straight.

I remember getting a bottle of Aqua Velva from my girlfriend in high school. She loved it...if you know what I mean. Last summer, I decided I needed something to sooth out the razor burn/bumps I tend to get when it's hot. I bought a bottle of the same stuff (hasn't changed a whit) and my wife goes crazy over it now

I also like the Proraso balm, especially when I first started with the straight razor and got a lot more burns. Wife doesn't, but she isn't the one shaving.

My wife doesn't particulary like Old Spice but I use it because I like it. She doesn't dislike it and she buys me different stuff that my daughters say is the fad but I hate all of it. Smells like perfume. My favorite used to be Jade East but I haven't seen that stuff for 40 years.

i like alot of the older scents such as old spice, bay rum, and sandalwood right now those i would have to say are my 3 favorite and not in any special order. im just not a big fan of alot of the new smells that you find in the big shopping malls

    Hello, Mackie:

Slightly off topic here: Rasage Poulin (rasagepoulin.com) carries Jade East. Owner Scott is a good man, and Rasage Poulin, a fine vendor, is one of the sponsors here at SRP.

    Regards,
    Obie
