You are right about the cologne. Though I may be wrong. With
the soap, once you rinse after the shave. There goes the scent.
Though I do love the scented soapd and creams, I am considering
going to nothing but Williams after my current supply runs out
sometimes in the coming century. But consider is as far as it
will go. I know I will order more of the stuff.

    Cool Another one

Working through a bunch of Penhaligon's samples, I now have to add one to my top scents: Penhaligon's Opus 1870. Great stuff, spicy, woody, musky; and wonder of wonders, both my wife and daughter love it (it doesn't hurt that I really like it too). The shaving cream is also top notch.

Bottom line, I've got to stop listening to/visiting ThreePutt. I have found that he has great taste in shaving gear, unfortunately his recommendations are going to put me in the poor house . (Just kidding Jeff, I'm really quite grateful).
    Cheers,
    Ed

My problem with this is my wife gets migraine headaches. Therefore I do not get to enjoy many different colognes. I can get by with a little Bay Rum AS which doesn't kill her as much. I am . I really enjoy the colognes. In fact most times I just use witchhazel with aloe.

This would be the perfect time for one of those little EVIL GRIN smileys, if I knew how to do it.

Rich, I really enjoy colognes too, but I always find myself wearing only scents that my woman likes. If she didnt like anything or only liked one thing, thats what would make me happiest to wear, so at least you are still making your wife happy with your cologne decision...thats the important thing.

    Davidoff - Echoes
    Issey Miyake ( spell-check )

You cannot begin to imagine what these two do to the ladies .. I've had people go up to my good lady and ask what it is I'm wearing , she rather likes that as she picked the Davidoff based on my tastes -- a fantastic choice ..
I'm hankering after something with some spice similar to Issey -- any ideas would be welcome

Found one I like a lot. Blue Mark by Jack Black. (No, not the fat singing comedian ) It's a pretty upscale UK company that has apparently opened up shop in the U.S. Found it at Bumble Lane in Baton Rouge. A woman picked it out, so I know it smells good. I like it a lot.
