Well one thing out of a million (Per her) is a start

    I currently own these EDT's:

    LaCoste Essential
    Burberry Brit
    Burberry Weekend
    Bvlgari Blv
    Bvlgari Aqva
    Hugo Boss Dark Blue

I love Bvlgari, Lacoste and Burberry scents in general. I wanted to try some Truefitt & Hill, and both T&H and Taylor of old Bond St. promised to send me samples back in December, but none of the ever arrived. Pretty disappointing, so I have to wait until I can afford to buy some of them.

I went throught a long period where I wore no cologne, just aftershave because I did not want to wear two clashing scents. I have recently started shaving at nigh and using a neutrogena lotion as an aftershave. By the morning I can spray on cologne without any irritation to my neck. Oh, my favorite cologne currently in Kenneth Cole Reaction. My wife loves it.

My absolute favorite is Penhaligon's Opus 1870. From there, in no particular order, I enjoy:

    Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet
    Penhaligon's English Fern
    Truefitt & Hill 1805
    Truefitt & Hill Trafalgar

I still have several scents from these houses to try, as well as other makers. The list will certainly grow. But it'll take an absolute titan of a cologne to displace Opus 1870 as my favorite.

Don't really have one yet......still relatively new in the whole "scents" thing. My girl tells me that I like it way too much though....anything that smells real nice I'm willing to spend money on.

    Default Stuck on Creed...any Suggestions?

Tried many, but have found that these work well on me, last throughout the day or evening, and aren't overpowering:

    Creed "Taberome" &
Creed "Cuir de Russie" in Fall/Winter

    Creed "Imperial" in Spring/Summer

Any suggestions for new scents to try?

I wear Davidoff's Good Life. I wanted something I liked as well as women. This was it. Now that I'm married my wife still likes it the best. And I've tried a few other scents from B&B ( thanks Scotto http://www.badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=3727 ) but when I go back to Good Life I always get comments. Perfume.com is a good site but may not have some scents http://www.perfume.com/davidoff/good-life-1008117.html

    All time favorite:
Bulgari Black (black tea, pepper, leather, musk, burnt rubber)

    Close second:
Gucci Pour Homme (someone on Basenotes said "pencil shavings" )

    Also like very much:
    Bulgari Pour Homme (very discreet)
    Cerruti 1881
Tabac - yeah baby! I don't care that it's cheap
    GFT Spanish Leather
    Carolina Herrera 212
Issey M - forgot the name

Got the two Very Sexy by VS for Xmas - I kind of like one, my wife likes the other. Not close to my favorites, though.

L'Occitane's Vetyver is not bad either.

Gotta get me some Creed Tabarome.

    Cheers

CK One is pretty much all I've used in the last 10 years... mainly because I'm still on the same bottle (it is a big EDT spray bottle). My wife likes it so I wear it whenever we go out, otherwise I don't bother much (obviously).

    Hi Joe,

I was also wondering about the Penhaligon scents, and wanted to try / sample them before I made a blind purchase.

If you go to their website and then select the link to contact them, write them a note stating you would like a sample of the scent your after, they scent me several samples of mens and womens fragrances for my wife and I to try..

It took a couple weeks to receive them, but it was nice to try before you buy.

I think I liked the Castille the best..

    Neale

My wife bought me Armani Aqua di Gio, and Dolce & Gabanna por Homme for Christmas, they are both very nice scents that can be sampled at your local Dept Store.
