    Default Favorite Scents

This is a pretty wide open question, but what are your favorite colognes? I'm not talking about after shaves or shaving products, but colognes only. More importantly, what are your girlfriends'/wives' favorite colognes on you. I'm thinking of trying some of the Penhaligon stuff and just wondered whether I oughta shell out the money or stick with what I already have.

    Joe,
If I had to choose just one cologne, I'd choose Armani Mania. You can find it at most department stores. This is really good stuff. I have yet to meet a woman who doesn't love this stuff. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. 2 or 3 squirts will last for quite a while. It's a least worth stopping by and sampling at the counter.
BTW, the aftershave version of this scent is nice too, but the scent quickly diminishes upon drying.

My first choice is T&H 1805, followed closely by Trumper's Eucharis. I'm currently working my way through a bunch of Penhaligon's samples (thanks ThreePutt) so may have to change my top rankings soon--or not

This week it Pure Lavender by Azzarro and A*MEN by Thierry-Mugler (or something like that). I'm sure next week it will be different.

    Default Tough question...

I have so many "favorites", but I suppose.....in no particular order....Trumper's Spanish Leather, Castle Forbes Limes, Trumper's Astor, Penhaligon's Douro, Penhaligon's English Fern, Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet, Penhaligon's Opus 1870, Truefitt & Hill's 1805, Taylor of Old Bond Street Eton College, Trumper's Eucris, Castle Forbes Keig, Castle Forbes 1445. I have yet to experience the wares of Creed, Crown Perfumery, and Floris. I'm sure this list will grow. I need more shelves.. Believe it or not, the list of scents I cannot STAND is actually much longer than this one

If you price out the cologne, it comes out to be aroudn the same price as most colognes you would find anywhere else. As far as the shaving soap and skin food....yes...ouch!
