For all those talking about Thai crystal and such - it is just good old alum, which we all may have laying around anyways. There would be no cost to try it if you already have it.
From wikipedia: "Alum's antibacterial properties contribute to its traditional use as an underarm deodorant. It has been used for this purpose in Europe; Mexico; Thailand, where it is called Sarn-Som; throughout Asia; and in the Philippines, where it is called Tawas. Today, potassium alum is sold commercially for this purpose as a "deodorant crystal," often in a protective plastic case."

Personally, I make my own stick deo and so can add any fragrance I prefer.

I have been using Grace Cosmetics roll-on deodourant for years now and have never had a problem, even when on exercise with the military.
It's all aloe vera based and natural. If you can find a distributor in your area, try it and see if it helps and, if it doesn't, there's a money back guarantee.Hang on and enjoy the ride...

I have been using a crystal (alum salt) for the last 10 years. It does a great job; an added bonus, and the reason that I went to crystals, it eliminates the yellow gunk that accumulates on your t-shirt. Yes, if you use a deodorant stick, the underarm area of your t-shirt turns nasty.
One trick with the crystal stick that I use: when you rinse your face after shaving, just rub some water in your armpits where you want the deodorant to go. Then rub the crystal stick on your armpits. It glides much easier than trying to wet the crystal stick and then applying.
