As basic as it gets, but works wonderful for the winter months...Clubman Pinaud and corn huskers lotion, once the corn huskers has worked its way in, a nice splash of Clubman and the day is set up for success.

For me it's Alt Innsbruck, for some reason from the very beginning I've associated it with winter skiing in the Alps, and that's got nothing to do with the name, only the scent. My best guess as to why is that I must've smelled it for the first time in that setting even if at the time I haven't realized it.

Thanked: 1Just a beginner, so question... is there a site where you can see the different selections you are talking about? Or do you just have to search for each one.

Thanked: 220Lately, I've been using Arber Aftershave Balm from The Body Shop. It hydrates well after shaving and smells great too.

Thanked: 6Mitchell's Wool Fat hand and body lotion. I use it as a balm and it performs much better than any balm I've tried.

So far I have not found a balm in my price range yet that kills razor burn like the Proraso balm. I like Nivea but it sadly makes me break out. I have found Floid splash soothing and cooling. I guess next I might try La Troja sensitive balm with mineral salts.

Thanked: 0Proraso is the best lotion/balm I've found. $16 seems a bit high, even if it comes in a glass bottle. Dump it in a plastic bottle and sell me a quart.
Seriously, for a few dollars more I could buy a 100ml decant of Alt Innsbruck. Now that is money well spent.
