I bet the C&S 88 is great. For that price it should pour you a drink after you use it. No offense to any one, just a little humor. Don't see myself spending more than 20 bucks on aftershave, and that's pretty high for me.

My current aftershaves are: Tabac, Canoe, English Leather, Brut, Old Spice.

There is a really cool thread about using booze as aftershave... I really like using scotch as aftershave. I'm a bit of a scotchaohlic as it is!! My wife 'hates' the smell of scotch but when I use it as aftershave she goes crazy for the stuff!! My favourite drinking scotch is also my favourite to use as aftershave! Laphroig Quarter Cask. around $70 for a 1.14L bottle! Find an aftershave at that price that you can drink in the morning to take the edge off at the same time!!!

Hmm... as luck would have it, I just happen to have a bottle of Laphroaig 1/4 cask here. I may have to try this tonight...

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I can't get enough of the stuff Cangooner! It's relatively cheap and I really prefer it over MOST other scotches! It's got a nice smokiness/peat flavor to it but not overpowering like a Lagavulin that tastes like you've taken handful of peat and wrapped it in a tobacco leaf.

And then there are the other Laphroaigs that make Lagavullin taste like Dalwhinnie (which I absolutely LOVE, but is at the other end of the smoky/peaty spectrum)!

Well, like I said, my wife thinks Scotch tastes like old dirty socks soaked in rubbing alcohol but absolutely loves how it smells on my face. Give it a go! At almost 50% alcohol, the quarter cask gives a nice bite when you throw it on your skin too!

Brooksie, have you had any run-ins with police yet where you had to explain that the alcohol they were smelling was indeed alcohol but used as aftershave instead? That would be my only concern.
