I just can't begin to thank Bruno enough for providing such a nice quality custom razor that almost anyone can afford. I may never own a mastro livi or anything like that but I am truly proud to own a razor from Bruno.

Seriously though, the glow effect was rather low, so I would have never picked up on that if you hadn't mentioned it.

True. And because you only see the end side of the spacer, the effect isn't really noticeable outside very low light conditions. I've been think about GITD scales, but not sure. It may work with pattern welded steel.

After much thinking and consideration (actually, just procrastination), I decided to re scale my BB. I'd initially tried acrylic:

But felt like I wasn't doing the blade justice. After some extended time at the drawing board, here it is in its new Gabon Ebony (Holy Buckets! THAT stuff is HARD!) scales with a nice brass wedge. Simple, but I think, elegant:

I have to say that the new scales are far nicer than the orignals, good work, i am still not a fan of micro fastners (mostly from a practcal point of view, they need to be maintained to stop them coming loose, well they did in the one razor i tried with them but i can imagine it being an issue accross the board), but nonetheless it looks really good
