    Enjoy!

    Bruno as always great work!
Yeah, it will take a bit of getting used to, weighs in at 114 grams

Holly bass ted blade grinds, you picked a real treat there Ed,
makes my design choices look like a walk in the park, love the antique look to it.
It came up great since the first grind pics, an awesome collaboration by all involved.
Start working the dumb bells ready for the work out you will get using that behemoth Ed.

Yes, it certainly has some heft, feels a bit like shaving with a small sword (in a good way), i realised at the last minute when i was packing that it wasnt going to fit in the slots in my razor case, so i had to repurpose an old foam inlay that i made for a razor and welsh slate honeName: 20140826_192553.jpg

Pretty rough i know, but there you go, thats the mappin and webb at the back
I should call it my andrew box rather than razor case as andrew jm gave me the M&W, and phrank gave me the scales for this one, along with another nice razor too, which is currently on loan

This is a custom bruno made for me, loosely based on a lancet grind, i put an 11/16" mappin and webb in for size comparison, the scales are made by val at the gentlemans den in toronto, and were courtesy of phrank, so once again phanks phrank
    Awesome looking razor

And very kind of Phrank to provide the scales. 2 thumbs up

Do you recognise the little feller in there andy?
Did you know it was a mappin and webb lancet that inspired the design for my razor

Yes I saw the little fella Makes the Mappin seem tiny. Would be cool to find a Mappin Lancet to buy, but havent really seen any come up for sale.

Anxiously awaiting the posty with this my monkey tailed "Brunoblade" so my own little custom adventure can start.
I just love the fact that Bruno creates an opportunity for anyone to have a decent shot at a full custom for a fraction of the cost by doing the base metal work for those of us without the access to the equipment to forge & temper a custom blade.
I only hope I can do it the justice it deserves.

Now we know there are plenty more Brunoblades out there both old and new,
so show us your work so we can all enjoy the razor porn and check out the competition.
Great looking blade, only problem is I want one now.

From what i have read, there are a few about, but a lot of them are in pretty ordinary shape, so you have a lancet, india steel diamond edge, and what else on your wish list andy?

Great looking razor man. Pic looks like an elephant riding a mouse. This guy makes some of the best blades I've seen. How do they perform? And who do I have to kill to get one? (Prefer to buy but murder is an option)

Just PM bruno, he will sort you out, i think you can buy through SRD as well. I did some research before i commissioned bruno, and he got good feedback from a few of the more senior members here, so i went with him, i am still only on shave 2 with this beastie and am still getting the angles etc right.
