Yeah I know I do. Both of the blades are top notch for sure. I;m sure there will be more in my future though

The attached pic is what your blade looks like when you receive it from Bruno. There was a lot of collaboration between us in determining the style of blade he'd make for me, which made me feel like I'd had as much to do with the razors creation as I possibly could without a forge . I've got a lot of hand sanding ahead...starting tonight!
Here's the construction process / thread where Bruno made two razors for me from 4 sections of 400+ year old Japanese swords that were made from Tamahagane steel.

    http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...ml#post1479572

One of them we worked out kind of a "Blade Runner" theme for the shape, and the "Azumi" was born. And the other one in the black scales, I wanted to go with something along the lines of an old Sheffield razor.

One of the sword makers Kanji stamps were identified as a quite famous sword maker, here's a section from the thread:

"The sword was made in the 1600's by sword master Hata Mitsuyo, he was a famous swordsmith, famous for his short sword, nicknamed, "the Devil's kitchen knife", and if you follow the link below, you can see the last three symbols of the Kanji match the symbols in pic #3 from Bruno's first post and read about the maker - truly an ancient piece of steel. "

Love it, the "Devil's Kitchen Knife":

    HATA MITSUYO KATANA

And here are the two Tamahagane razors Bruno made from the ancient sword sections. They are stellar shavers:

That's a machete. My first and so far only one. I did some testing to make sure it wouldn't break upon impact and to my surprise I could throw a foot of 3x7 roofbeam in the air and split it clean through with single cut. Nearly stabbed myself in the foot on the follow through.

I'm sorry, but all your scale designs should NOT be used.

Doubt he waited 3 years for an opinion on his scale design... but better late than never I guess.

I was wondering where this scale material and the material on post 266 came from? Masecraft? I really like it.
    lz6 and Hirlau like this.
