Isn't that bocote? So you've got one horn scale and one bocote? Sounds pretty cool since the wood would compliment the horn nicely. What was you're reasoning for it?

Ta-Da the W&B Bow with the cracks in the heel is Shave Ready Was a great shave as well. Just a bit of getting used to the heel being out there a ways

Maybe it's bocote... I really don't know. I'm not a wood guy. I didn't do the repair/rescale; that was the way the razor was when I got it. Since the scales are comfortable to handle, functional, and safe, having them replaced is not a priority, but I will probably have them redone at some point.

How rare is the wade Butcher? was it worth it?
Wondering how rare this is and is a straight like this easy to come across again? Does anyone know ay history about this beauty and do you think the final cost justifies it's worth? Check this baby out
