I just picked this one up off fleabay. it will be sent to Cannonfodder for obvious reasons. Needs new scales and some other work. I already cleaned some of the gunk off it, but it needs to be restored.

My first W&B
This was identified as a W&B by Crichton for me,as a Bow,although it wasn't struck very hard. Shaves like a dream though

Here is my humble collection. Nothing to special but these 7/8 wedges are the best shavers Ive ever tried. Ive tried many razors but the W&Bs are the very best!

Here are my butchers:
Please forgive the quality of the pics, I tried making them nice but so much dust shows up due to the flash.
A 6/8 spike in rosewood scales with ebony wedge, just finished this thing - honed it up today and just had a smooth comfortable shave with it.
A 5/8 spike, also in rosewood scales (Heh, I just realized!)
a 5/8 wedge in wenge, very smooth shaver but I really miss some jimps on this thing. It has a little weight to it and the steel is too smooth while shaving.
a 5/8 wedge with barber's notch, scales in bocote. Have not finished honing this thing yet but working on it
I got a bow blade laying around waiting to be scaled, but that's all my current butchers.

I was just wondering by the way, when was it that wade and butcher stopped producing razors? I've got one on the way from ebay and was just wondering about the latest that it could have been made...

I would guess that the latest Specials were early 1900's; maybe 1920's but I'm really not sure.
