I picked up this W&B a few weeks ago and had it honed by Ray at Gentleman's Best. I've used it three times and all I can say is WOW, what a shave. Feels great in the hands, cuts through whiskers effortlessly and gives a great shave.
Last night I shaved for the first time with a Double Duck, Satinedge also freshly honed by Ray. It shaved well but not like the W&B. I was amazed that after only 7-8 months of Str8 Shaving, the difference in the two razors was obvious to me.
If I were to use a car analogy I would say that the W&B is like a 50's Era Cadillac: big heavy (not in a bad way) and rides well, comfortable and luxurious. The Double Duck: a sports car (Corvette), handles well, turns better in the curves, does not feel as luxurious and does not ride as well.

Both shaved well, but I am now a Wade and Butcher fan.

Ok guys, I have picked up 2 W&Bs and a higgins. I will post pics as soon as I can see them as I am in Iraq for a few more weeks and they are in Columbus, Georgia. Can I join your club and get one of those awesome cartouches? Would have sent them here but when you mix the US Army, customs, and a race to get home after 12 months of GWOT, you are left with a headache the size of Louisiana (Purchase years).

If you would please, I am not the most computer savvy guy. I really like the look of Razorback's logo. I have spent most of my free time in here learning from all of you and the funny thing is that I have about 6 guys hooked on trying str8s when we get back home. So keep your eyes peeled for some new members soon. They can even tell you which W&B is pre and post 1892!
