Original scales? I have the same razor in plain black and a Boker with those scales. Interesting how they shared suppliers.

Any tips on getting the scales that clean and bright?
I used high grit micromesh on mine, finished with newspaper. After a good soak in pure neatsfoot oil, of course.

Tortoise behaves pretty much identical to horn.

As far as Eskilstuna razors are concerned, I have mostly seen them on J.A. Hellberg razors, but other manufacturers may very well have used them as well.

I don't know if they are original scales or not. I purchased the razor in those scales, but a previous owner could have swapped out the scales.

This MK31 was re-scaled due to damaged scales when purchased.

Both these are 32's and the cream scaled one came today and shaved great.
