Yes here we have an early Filarmonica 14 Especial with wonderfull bakelite scales.

You are safe to assume that the only difference between this and a Filarmonica is the name. They key element is that Jose Monserrat Pou made the razor, and this was most likely made before JMP started using the brand name Filarmonica. If you're in any doubt, I can always take this razor off your hands ... I would be happy for anything that had JMP's name on it!

After much searching, found a seller in Japan selling NOS Filarmonica's, and this 7/8 arrived yesterday and it's off for a honing.
So here is my Filarmonica #13, Sub Cero, Doble Temple, arrived new in the box, what a beauty!
And here's the blade:
Can't wait to try this razor, and I blame SOTD, it's just like being a kid looking into the department store windows during Christmas!!

I can assure you you will not be disappointed probably one of the finest razors you will ever shave with, and what I love about Filarmonica's they are a walk in the park when it comes to honing, great razor I look forward to your SOTD photo.
