Just sent payment off for an SRP LE to a member on here (the one in the classifieds)
No idea what to expect shave-wise. I don't want to expect everything (suppose you pay for the name in a way)
Anyway just thought I'd poke my head in and say hi as a future owner.

Now officially a TI owner - got it the other day.
Feels a lot different to my Kropp - feels a lot smaller in my hands, and a lot thinner in the tang - almost dainty. Nice and sharp though - a nice shaver.

Here is my contrabution. I've not seen one like it on here so maybe somebody can give me some info It. I bought this razor sometime ago. on the tang there is a crown the word Thiers-Iss and under that is the word made. On the blade it says our Unrivalled Hollow Ground Fully Warranted and a picture of a Buffallo. It shaves really nice. and I was told it is a Thiers-Issard.

My "French Connection" #1
6/8 Historical "Sans Marque" without etching
"This classic 6/8 doesn't need any etching because of its wounderfully worked back. It is a classic. A very nice mirror polish doesn't need more. The beautiful bone scales are a perfect match for this blade.
The razor has a 1/4 to half hollow grind and is very suitable for even thick beards."

6/8 Festonné Decorated Back
"A very beautiful 6/8 razor with a decorated back and an inverted square point. The lower shank has a thumb rest. Very fine hollow ground (1/1), mirror polish and our exclusive etching "Fox and Rooster" and marvelous snakewood scales (Amourette).
This razors comes shave ready in a genuine leather pouch in a Thiers Issard carton.
The ideal gift for lovers and collectors of historical razors and for strong beards. (Light beards can be shaven with it too!)"
