Got several french wedges in black horn, XIXe, we often found them on our markets.

In my personal collection, I got this Pradier, 1820, carved ivory.

I really like french blades of the first part of the XIXe century

Edit : I forgot those two "disposable" razors :

Frameback Cornu à Troyes, patented in 1819.

Shavette Jeanningros Frères, patented in 1849.

Those are the three french blades in my permanent collection.

Wow - I have two TI's and Thaeris, that's probably one of the most beautiful razors I've ever seen! Both the blade and scales are breath-taking!

Let us know if you ever plan on selling it...I'm sure someone will buy one of my children!

Thanks, but I'm not planning to sell it ^^ It's making a pair with a similar Joseph Elliot, and the two of them cost me so much to restore that it wouldn't even be profitable to sell them.

Moreover, I think that if I should only keep two, I would choose those.

They're shaving really smooth, and I just love the way they're carved...

Quite psyched to get my first TI in my collection. Not sure of the age of this vintage Le Dandy but I will treat her well if she treats me the same, hehe.

Just went through this thread, I now want, and need a Thiers Issard Crown Silverwing, absolutely stunning...I think the odds on getting one are right beside the odds of getting a DD Grim Reaper. That Thiers Issard Crown Silverwing is gorgeous, and if I had to pick between the two, think I'd go for that Crown Silverwing....wow.

Here are my two, with pics this time:

I´m selling almost all my straights right now (mostly Heljestrand) and buying TI´s from now and then.
One model it seems hard to find these days are vintage Special Coiffeur 1937 69 médaille d'argent.
Why is it like that? Le Dandy is very easy to find in good condition.

There is two of these that you mention, they are not #69, but they are SC 1937, have a look, they are from The Classic Edge in Canada:

    Thiers-Issard Special C. Straight Razor 6/8 Ebony

    Thiers-Issard Special C. Straight Razor 5/8 Ivory

    Hope this helps!
