Thank you for this. I´ve already bought one of these but in olive scales but haven´t tried it yet, it´s on is way from Belgium.
I hope it´s working as well as my older SC 1937 as I had a couple of years ago.
I have two Le Dandy 9 médaille d'argent but I think the new C135 Le Dandy (I had a new one but I sold it) is way behind these in feeling.
But I suppose that the C135/Carbonsong is behaving different in different models?

I would like to request consideration for entrance into the French Foreign Laceration with the receipt of my newest razor as proof of my "worthiness".

It will soon draw blood, of this I am sure......

Default My entry into the TI Razor Club

I'll join in as well...This is my entry into the TI razor group. It's a "Le Petit Francais". This is currently the smallest razor I have width wise, but it represents my official entry into the world of straight razor shaving. I have gathered some specs, and yes, I'm a bit of a techie, but discovering the nuances of these hand made tools is part of the fun...

TI "Le Petit Francais", 4/8ths Round Point, Full Hollow Ground, C-135 "carbonsong" Steel (1.35% carbon content placing it in the ultra-high carbon steel category), black plastic scales, bottom-only jimps, stamped with the crown logo and "Thiers-Issard Made in France" on the shank. Place of manufacture: Thiers, France.

As you can see from the pictures below, the blade is still covered with the oil that was used to protect it during shipping, as I have not had a chance to clean it up and use it. I'm hoping that this little razor will be a pleasure to use. Enjoy...

I forgot, there is a number 7 (6/8 Rams horn) on it´s way from Aurora
But I also take your word and start bidding on a TI frame back on eBay
After that i think I have enough.

My latest love arrived today from TI UK.
Made from an old blank with bone scales.
