My TI Historic Silver Steel......she was such a beauty....but a lousy shaver. In the end, she had to go to a new master.
This is the TI Limited Edition B&B Pink Ivory LeGrelot that 80 of us over at Badger & Blade are currently waiting for. Joel set up the buy for the very last 80 LeGrelot blades that TI had left.....can't wait to take her for a spin!

Thanked: 55I wonder what makes these historic? I've only seen one place make that claim. Just about all my TI's look like this and I bought them all years ago but back then no one was claiming that these were historic. All were pretty much sold as standard TI offerings.
It's a shame it didn't perform for you. These razors are capable of a wonderfully keen and smooth edge. I love mine.
Regards,
EL

The historic blades are 100 year old forgings that have recently been ground into razors as offered by rasupur below.

My two TIs are fantastic shavers. One is 5/8's extra hollow with snakewood scales and the other is a 7/8's extra hollow with red stamina scales. The shaves from both razors are extremely close, long lasting and comfortable. They can only be matched by my Bergischer Lowe. I had no difficultly putting a finish edge on either TI with my spyderco UF stone.
I will post pictures tonight.

I'm awaiting delivery of my first ever Ebay purchase:
1931 Le Grelot!
I hope to have it in my sweaty little mitts by the end of the week and start in on the Maas & rescaling!
