For my permanent collection...............
I scored this today at an antique show. Beautiful blade and beautiful black and creme scales. I can't wait to hone this one up and get it shaving!

You know what I like about the Robesons? They're razors that DO something. They "fit your face", or they "won't cut the strop", they're razors with initiative! Oh yeah!Last edited by ChrisL; 09-28-2008 at 04:00 AM.
"Blues fallin' down like hail." Robert Johnson
"Aw, Pretty Boy, can't you show me nuthin but surrender?" Patti Smith

This one has some pitting due to celluloid gassing. It might still have a couple of years of shaving left in it.
A hammered tang 35-B-250.

Well I finaly got around to getting pics of my current Robeson set... looks like 3 more to make the week
One you will notice doesn't have hammering on it. It was milled flat by a remanufacturer at some point and had their name stamped in. You can still see all the other markers of a robeson Hammer marks at pin hole, number set at tail, and the engraving on the face of the blade.
The one with rounded scales, was a nightmare... a good bit of rot the first 1/4" of the tip that required just a flat grinding away of the edge till I got past the rot. Than spent a good deal of time putting new bevels on it. Now my fingers are sore...
So here are the Pics...

I would like to apply for the club. I've several robeson razors and find them to be fine shavers.

Stropper, that is one heck of a nice job on that razor. While I don't go much for high polish I do like a job well done. Love the depth of the hammer marks, very clean looking
Thanks for sharing this one

Hi,
I thought you folks might be interested in some Robesons that I have come by over the years. None of these models have been shown in the previous posts, so they be of some interest. The first is a model 3537 with twisted rope scales, nice file work on the spine and a sexy thumb notch. This razor came in its original box which was sold in Sunbury, Pa., and is dated 8-2-04.
All of these razors are great shavers

Next is a Robeson that doesn't have a model number stamped on it anywhere. It also has twisted rope scales.
