This very well may be the most ugly Boker here, but I've gone through every post in this very long thread and didn't see one like it. Bare with me, I just brought it home a couple of hours ago and it needs a ton of work. One scale was broken, the other was ok.
There is no stamp on the blade of what country it was made in. There wasn't any markings on the scales. I thought it was a Boker, but wasn't sure until I got it home and cleaned some rust off. The only stamp is what you see.
Yummy...
Alas, the stamp. Aside from the etch, it's the only mark on the blade.
The "Rising Sun" etch.
The blade measures 13/16 and needs a ton of work.
I figured I'd post this in here because you guys are the Boker brains.
Going by the tree stamp it's a 1924-1935 (if I remember correctly).
I wish the other scale wouldn't have been busted... Either way, it's not winning any beauty contest.
I just wanted to share it with the rest of you.

Here is my addition to the brotherhood. I just grabbed this one from eBay. Unfortunately i only have the posted pics from eBay right now. But when i get my hands on it, i'll be sure to post more. I've seen the same scales in some of the other pictures in this post, but cannot determine the model. Any ideas? All i can really tell is by the trademark that its about 1932-1945. Any info helps!

So i finally got my hands on my first Boker! Its a beauty, i cant wait to have it sent out to be sharpened. I dont have too much info on it, only going by the tradmark on the scales i'd say its 1932-1945. I'd like to find out the model, if there are any ideas please let me know, thanks guys.
So...am i in the club?

Looks nice! Thanks for sharing.
I don't know about the "club" deal...I think those went away with the site upgrade a while back. It's just a matter of contributing here.

Thanked: 1Hey all, I'm new to collecting and straight razors in general. I'm hoping to learn from your infinate wisdom. Could anyone help me identify this blade? I looked through the book that Doc had posted up here and I found one similar blade that had markings that looked like this and the stamp but I was just curious because it has no engraving or name or even model markings. The one it looks closest to resembling is the number 375 3/8". Just wanted to know what you guys thought.

Pictures are on my flicker along with some close up shots of the small chip on the blade which I have been told I could fix with a dremel. But I don't know if I'm that confident in my ability to do something along these lines, I might just send it out.
